Macroeconomics - Essay ideal exertion A Industry A has 20 firms and a (CR) of 20%. The Concentration Ratio is have-to doe with around how much of the market is controlled by the firms involved, in this case with 20 firms and a (CR) of 20% the controlled rank is low. (Concentration Ratio, 2011 p 1) This implies that the industry is either highly competitive industry. This means that every involved organization in this particular industry is able to enter and exit the market with low barriers. This industry type could be termed a complete(a) competition however, because it has a (CR) of 20% it is also close to an oligopoly. To be a perfect competition the characteristics would need to include, wholly firms selling the same products, all firms involved being price takers, all firms having a relatively itty-bitty market part, buyer knowing what is being sold and for how much and the energy to enter and exit the market. (Perfect Competition, 2011 p 1) In this environment the abili ty to enter the market with low to no barriers will allow for more competition to be available. The long term adjustments would need to be expecting cast down prices and normal profits. The (CR) will remain low in this industry model collect to greater competition. Industry B Industry B has 20 firms and a (CR) of 85% which places it in the oligopoly to monopoly range in moving in types. An oligopoly is characterized by a few dominant firms and many small ones, standardized and differentiated product depending on the industry, power of dominant firms over pricing, barriers to becoming a dominant firm and the use of non-price competition due to fear of price wars. (Petroff, 2002 para. 2) A monopoly however, is a situation where a single company or multitude owns the entire market, or close to it. Because this tends to mean it is a business that has a single firm it would non necessarily apply in this case. (Monopoly, 2011 p 1) To figure out the proper concentration ratio it is r equisite to use the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, a commonly accepted measure of market concentration. It is calculated by squaring the market share of each firm competing in the market and then summing the resulting numbers. (Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, ND) Conclusion Industry A would be clutch for a small business given the ability to enter and exit with relative ease. This however, should not brush off the possibility of Industry Bs ability to control a market and pricing as well. The entry barriers may be insurmountable in this industry type though the rewards could be significantly greater. The potential difference increases while the capacitor is being pull downd. When the voltage on the terminals is of the capacitors is follow to the power supply voltage, the capacitor is in full charged. When the circuit is disconnected from the power supply, the capacitor is said to be discharging through the resistors. The voltage across the circuits then drops gradually until it is zero.At first, there is very little charge in the circuit. When power is supplied from the DC source, a charge builds up in the both the resistors and the capacitors. It is noted that as the charge increases in the circuit, the current recorded on the circuit gets smaller. From the experiment carried fall out above, we can check over that the changes in both the voltage and current in a multisim circuit when charging and discharging. The charge Q in a circuit is dep endent on the amount of voltage present and in turn this influences the current measured on the circuit. When the amount of charge gets larger, the amount of current measured gets smaller. When discharging, the voltage across the resistors and the capacitors drops gradually until it reduces to zero. However, in this paper, the analysis of the scene in The Witch Kitchen would not be close to psychoanalysis instead, it would focussing on the regular lives of individuals. The analysis in this paper desires to relate the scenes which had made in the earlier full point to the current state of mind of various individuals as salubrious as the existing determines and behaviorstyles of people. In this scene, the drama for the first time enters a feminine sphere after dwelling almost altogether in all-male realms. Also, for the first time Faust experiences a domestic space, a kitchen. How does he react to it? What is the significance of this busy setting? It is cognise that a kitchen is normally known as a space for women in order to create a dish for the different individuals and their families. In some context, the kitchen is a place where in women give their time for the reason that they need to provide food to suppress the feeling of hunger which could result to put out or anger. It is stated in different parts in which straightway states that the gravel cannot create anything. Although the friction match has the power to do different actions which be not naturally for any being, the devil cannot do anything for him or her to generate something. The devil still needs somevirtuoso that could create something for him. At first Faust did not designate that he would be l ead into the kitchen of all the available places in the house. As said earlier, a kitchen is a feminine placed which is only designated for a woman. It is obvious that Faust was deeply wondering whether or not he is in the right place and what another(prenominal) possible actions could the devil be asking him now. In my own analysis he felt uncomfortable which then leads to not knowing what to do. But then, the devil was able to explain the different action which he needed to accomplish. Faust is not even close to the thought of having girly materials whence he disgusts the thought and project of dainty materials around him. equal a typical man, having girly materials and thoughts is something very far-off from what he needs and wants. However in my own point of view, there is too much disgust which he felt for the girly materials around him. It could be assumed that he is truly angry with girls or he just simply hates dainty materials. In the current times, such materials are not truly dislike by men. Although they do not use such material for themselves, there is no sign in which men acts violent when asked about something close to such. Fausts hatred in my own observation mogul be a sign that there is he had a history which such materials or with girls. In the other hand, it could also be assumed that he had frustrations if he sees such kinds of materials. In a womens rightist view point, the hatred of Faust could be immediately interpreted that he hates how women aretheir attitude their characteristic and their desires. It is known that most women likes such things and most men want to give dainty and adorable things for women to make them happy. It is either he does not want to satisfy women in such sense or he just plainly despises such things for the reason that he is a man who has strong desire of manly things for himself.Like most men, he is someone who was acting tough without any acts of weakness. In the current times, if men desires to hav e dainty things and are fond or them, it means that he is a transvestite therefore, it could be directly stated that Faust is not homosexual. What is the significance of the image that appears to Faust in the magic mirror on the Witchs wall? Are there other instances of mirroring in this scene In the first scene in which he entered the Kitchen and was asked if he wanted dainty materials he immediately despised everything and even cursed it.But then, in the scene where a mirror was laid in front of him, it is interesting that he saw a woman standing in front of the mirror. It is puzzling that he despised girly things while when he faced the mirror, he was not able to see himself but a woman who was beautiful which he adores. With such interesting scene there are many assumptions and reflections which could be made. First, it could be assumed that the reflection in the mirror reflects him self. It could be that he wanted to be a woman which could be affiliated to the happiness whic h he felt while looking at the mirror adoring the image in front of him.Having someone in front of him who he desires to be is something that homosexuals would be happy about. If this assumption is correct, Faust desires to be a woman and the hatred that he felt about dainty things is something that he was acting for the devil to not think otherwise. During the times where in the image of a beautiful woman was reflected there is a big part of him where he found happiness because in some ways he had frame something that he was yearning for in such a long time.In another context, if he is heterosexual person it could be easily said that he wants to be with a female. In the context that the story is deep down an all male realm, the yearning of Faust was awaken. Seeing a beautiful woman made him realize that he wants to be with her and wishes a person close to someone like the image in the mirror. In other conclusion, it could be stated that the image in the mirror is a person which he desires to be with him. It is the mirror who presented what he wanted therefore he became thrilled when he saw the woman. In my own interpretation, the woman he saw was someone who has a very beautiful face, angelic and kind. It could be said that she was the one he wanted for him self to be his partner or his wife in the future. The delight in which was expressed by Faust had been something that was very exquisite. It almost felt like she was what he was waiting for his whole life and that she was someone whom he would do anything for. In the current times, men do not see women in mirrors like Faust have experienced. They are seen everyday like other normal people. Genders are mixed and they are mingling with one another unlike in the story which they were all men in the story. Compared to the value Faust gave when he expressed his happiness while seeing the image, men are not anything close to such kind of value now a days. In the past, men are not as able or they could not easil y get a woman which just a few actions. in that respect is a process in which they follow in order to achieve the love and attention of women. woo is something that is not practiced now.Individuals just get together when they realize that they have something in common or they like each other. Although women are said to be someone who are special and is worth all the love and affection, some men do express that they do this in order to get what they want. nigh of the time, men only uses some strategy to get what they want and need while on the other hand women become used and helpless. In some point, I reflected that situation that what if there are no women just mirrors to see who and what we want? Would anyone be happy or satisfied?Would men be the men they are now? most probably not. But then I ask myself, why did Faust look at the image was happily, as lovingly as he was? It puzzles me because none of the lines stated that he was homosexual or something that just wanted to hav e a family life. But then, I still believe that the mental imagery that he saw was something he wanted for himself that if he maybe able to have it he bequeath surely be satisfied unlike the other things which are presented to him like the dainty things as well as the images which were focused on the story. In conclusion, the story of Goethe is something that is puzzling and intriguing due to the different contexts that it has. on that point were issues of gender and desires which could only be explained by the writer himself. However, such could not happen anymore. The theories and the real ideas of this story is left to its readers to assume and hypothesize the thoughts in which are made in the story.

Good and Evil Essay Example for Free

Good and sliminess EssayMy report examines the connection of the coexistence of good and vile crossways texts and how these aspects progeny compassionate temper and conjunction. The texts I used were To Kill a mocker by Harper Lee, The Help by Tate Taylor, Noughts Crosses by Malorie Blackman and Harawira drops N-bomb in water hui debate by Danya Levy. I consider these texts explore the moral spirit of smart set and human bes as essentially being good and curse through social drifts of racial preconception, discrimination and illustrates the answer of these on human nature and society through the characters responses to these societal niches. The primary form of loathsomeness crossways the texts is the social drifts that exist in the texts much(prenominal) as racial prejudice and discrimination. These argon prevalent dilemmas in all texts. If we take for instances in To Kill a Mockingbird prejudice is often committed against the Negroes of the biotic participat ion of Maycomb by the blancheds. The community often gazes Negroes as liars and criminals simply because they be black. You gentlemen would go along with them on the assumption- the barbarous assumption that all Negroes lie, that all Negroes atomic number 18 basically immoral beings With show up actually considering the black wads perspective the community immediately gain the preconception that this is how the blacks are. This is the whole nature and attitude of most of the pile in Maycomb( where TKMB is set) through discover the story. also with Noughts Crosses the Crosses believe that Noughts are inferior to them in every way and are no function still trouble.Crosses put forward these prejudice ideas more or less Noughts in order to keep the two races from bread and butter aboard each other as both races despise each other and keeping themselves in military unit with no mold of Noughts running the country. The article Harawira drops N-bomb in water hui debate is sl ightly different in a way as it deals more with discrimination against Maori moreover nevertheless discrimination has the same aftermath of injustice towards a race or contour as prejudice. In this article it is suggested by sharpen that Maori are under the harsh absolutism of John Key and have no control everywhere their actions. Maybe they should go back to John Key and tell him to stop treating his Maori MPs resembling hes a plantation admiter from Alabama in the 1950s. H one(a) through protrude the article points out that John Key is not being lenient on his Maori MPs on attention a debate about Water Rights concerning the Maori, Hone expresses the fact that John Keyshould leave it up to the Maori MPs to decide what they want to do rather than follow orders by John Key manage little house niggers. The Help tackles discrimination quite differently. Not only are the black maids in The Help treated unfavorably on the al-Qaeda of their skin notwithstanding Miss Hilly who is regarded as the main antagonist of the film is wrapped up in this idea that blacks carry a poisonous disease that threatens the community of Jackson, Mississippi(Where The Help is set). The discrimination in The Help is the obvious blanched and black stroke but the fact that the blacks are also treated unfavorably based on what diseases they carry and do to use separate bathrooms go beyond discrimination. This sort of conduct is how animals are treated because animals are do to stay outside just as blacks are made to use separate bathrooms. The one thing I noticed across these texts is that these social drifts left a certain race or class victimized by the turmoil these social drifts inflicted on them.Naturally from this consequence of victimization the interview of these texts is probable to gain a negative impression of prejudice and discrimination and perform an informed decision that these conducts are darkness which is exactly the way I regarded these social drifts. What prejudice and discrimination does is it asks somebody to believe that they are less human than everybody else whereas in actual fact we are all equal as anybody is as human as everybody roughly them and when prejudice or discrimination is committed it goes contrary to this therefrom make them evil attributes and inhumane. In Alabama 1950s racial discrimination did in fact pose an effect on human nature as masses answered in irrational ways towards blacks and rather than have a society that workd together it was segregated and balanced precariously on the razors edge of hostility and violence. The effect racism in general has on human nature and society further supports the evil that embodies prejudice and discrimination. The effect on human nature or the characters in these texts is apparent as characters across the texts are seen to react to them in irrational ways. The characters react to prejudice and discrimination in anger, hatred, violence and even suicidal ways. I n Noughts Crosses Lynette is a Nought who is a victim to the prejudice and violence in her society. Unable to cope with the struggles she faces in everyday life she takes the easy way out my committing suicide and walking out into an oncoming bus. too in To Kill a Mockingbird Boo Radley is forced into confinement in his house because the prejudice in Maycomb marks him as a maniac and therefore outcasts him from society. The idea that these cases pose is that social drifts such as prejudice is a big threat to stack and thus making them again evil attributes. Lynette and Boo Radley encountered these evils and consequently were victimized or matched by these evils (social drifts). In regards to society as a whole prejudice and discrimination effect society because if there is a sufficient amount of these attributes around individuals than society itself is influenced by prejudice or discrimination and if society operates this way than people tend to believe thats how society is squ iffyt to operate. This is most clearly seen in To Kill a Mockingbird by characters identical Bob Ewell who is a drunken, abusive stupefy who despises the blacks without reconsidering his attitudes towards blacks simply because prejudice is the status quo in Maycomb and this is what Bob Ewell has no doubt been brought up to believe that blacks are vile creatures. The effect of racism swings both ways though as seen in Harawira drops N-bomb in water hui debate. Hone is fueld with hostility towards John Key and forces Hone into a state of abuse and uncivil behavior. The point I am getting at is that racism make the nature of humans as seen in Lynnete and Boo Radley or the countless specimens across the texts. The effect is that it robs people of their honour and effects society by cuting the order because if you look at the definition of society. The aggregate of people living together in an ordered community. Bob Ewell by being racist towards blacks disrupts the placidity among st the races therefore disrupting the order and Maori are likely to be influenced by Hone who is a prominent Maori therefore he causes hostility between Maori and Pakeha due to his disagreements with the discrimination of the Maori MPs in turn this will disrupt the order and when there is no order there is no society which is the ultimate effect on society. I might have only used single people as examples but like I said there are countless examples across texts in term of the effect racism has on human nature and society. When you trust of good across the texts people almost immediately regard the race or individuals being laden as the good guys which brought me to the conclusion that the manifestation of good sums from the crush. crossways the texts the exploration of heaviness is evident. In To Kill a Mockingbird the black community is the oppressed as Maycomb frown on their very essence and they are subject to racial prejudice. A prime example is Tom Robinson. A black man falsely accused of the rape of a white woman. He is innocent as proven by Atticus but society accuse him on the basis of his skin colour making him oppressed for his racial al-Qaidaings in the community. Similarly in Noughts and Crosses the Noughts are viewed as the scum of the world and everything bad that happens people point the finger at the Noughts. Like Tom Robinson, Callum( who is one of the main characters) is hanged for the rape of Sephy(another main character) despite her supplying the fact that he did not rape her to Kamal Hadley who is her father and orders for Callum to be hanged.Kamal knew Callum was innocent but wanted to see him hanged and this act saw that Callum was oppressed because of his race. The Help though more or less deals with a specific sub group of the Negroes. The obvious oppression against the blacks stand in The Help but the oppression is more specific in the texts. Rather than the blacks as a whole being oppressed The Help is primarily dealing with the oppression against the black maids of Jackson, Mississippi. The black maids go bad clearly isnt valued in Jackson. The Maids are only paid minimal amount for their arduous jobs and are always on edge and full of fear in the homes they work at in. If the maids were being paid well or being provided snap off working conditions than the ones they were working in, things would be different but since this is not the case oppression is the mean of explaining the hardship that the maids suffer. Like The Help, Harawira drops N-bomb in water hui debate deals with oppression against a specific group rather than a race as a whole. In the article it explores how the Maori MPs of National are subject to the dictatorship of John Key and are unable to make a decision without John Keys approval. On a personal opinion I see this as oppression as it restricts the Maori from acting on free will which is within their rights in accordance to unexampled Zealand being a free country. John Key by not allowing the Maori MPs to make their own decisions is oppressing the Maori of their rights consequently leaving the Maori oppressed in terms of their rights.A connecting aspect between the oppressed across the texts is that they are generally innocent people. This connection is paramount to the reason why I perceive the oppressed as being good because when you look at the word innocent, the word itself associates with being good. Futhermore I think this quote in To Kill a Mockingbird expresses why innocence is a characteristic of a good person. Mockingbirds dont do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They dont eat up peoples gardens, dont nest in corncribs, they dont do one thing but sing their hearts out for us.Thats why its a sin to push down a Mockingbird. Mockingbirds are innocent birds that do no harm but just sing. In the instances of the texts the oppressed are the Mockingbirds as they do nothing but go about their work. If I use the maids in The Help as an exampl e they do nothing but go about their work as a maid and are treated like dirt. The oppressed are innocent making them good. Having oppressed races or individuals in the texts effects human nature and society. The effect is that it causes people to act for the public good and yearn for a society that does not discriminate based on race or class.Across the texts we can see that characters that recognize the injustices that occur towards the oppressed approach these situations with empathy and winning into custody and a need to incorporate change. The obvious examples of this would be people like Atticus in To kill a Mockingbird and Skeeter in The Help but this also occurs in minor characters along the game of these stories that serve as a reminder that there are people who care about the oppressed and see them at eye level. In Noughts Crosses Miss Paxton who is a Cross teacher notices that the Noughts that attend Heathcroft which is a prestigious school are incessantly picked on a nd bullied by the Crosses. She makes it her cause to implement change and make life easier for Noughts at Heathcroft by consulting with the principle and working out a strategic plan to easily improve the relationships of Noughts and Crosses. Unfortunately the principle is of the majority who are racist so this plan does not work out as well as Miss Paxton envisioned. Also in To Kill a Mockingbird Scout Finch applies Atticuss principal of considering others perspective before judging them and approaching others with empathy and understanding. Although she understands that being a child it is beyond her ability to create a significant change in society but she understands that the simple conduct of considering others perspective will go a long way in terms of change because this simple conduct leaves oppressed less victimized and leaves them with their dignity. If human nature is affected for the common good then the people who are affected and are acting for the common good clutch a marginal influence on society. This affects society because having people act for the common good would influence people to believe that the injustices that the oppressed are facing are immoral. This would ensure that society works on counteracting these injustices in order to create a more stable society that holds the peace of the people living in it so that they may live together in harmony.Much like Hone Harawira although he has a great capacity for violence he also has a greater capacity and long for the common good. He brings to light the hardship the Maori MPs are facing under John Keys dictatorship and exposes them in an unthinkable way but nevertheless in the hopes that people become aware of the injustices taking place against the Maori in order to influence people to make a stand against these injustices for a better social structure in society. This in fact is exactly the way Martin Luther King made an touch on the development of Negroes social standings in society. Th rough his many speeches and public appearances one would notice that he dreamed of a world where people were not discriminated by race or class and he always acted for the best intentions or for the common good and many in society were influenced by his actions in terms of acting for the common good. Through Martin Luther King he was the first stepping stone to society in America excepting Negroes into society itself. From this analogy we can see that living in a world with oppression, this influences people to act for the common good and society becomes influenced by these people so therefore society begins to operate more efficiently and in unity. This is a positive effect and further supports the capacity for good oppression poses for people. We all have good and evil inside of us. Its what side we choose to follow that defines who we very are. (J. K.Rowling)This quote about good and evil suggests that rather than being simply creatures of good or creatures of evil human nature h as a capacity for good and evil( which means we have both good and bad qualities) but its which part we choose to act on that marks who we are. From studying the texts I have come to an agreement that this is true. The characters that abide by prejudice and discrimination (The oppressors) have good and bad qualities but since they act these social drifts that are interpreted as evil rather than their good qualities the audience of the texts concludes that they are evil characters Kamal is seen as the antagonist of Noughts Crosses because he uses his social status to punish and discriminate the Noughts. In the perspective of the audience Kamal is the antagonist because discrimination is associated with evil and he resorts to discrimination therefore he is seen as an evil character. Likewise with the oppressed. The oppressed remain oppressed in order to keep the peace rather than acting out in violence and hostility towards the oppressors In The Help Aibileen, a black maid, does not a ntagonize the white society and goes about her work without any hassle despite suffering from incessant discrimination from the white society. She is just an innocent person who goes through life coping with racism. Aibileen is perceived as good because innocence is associated with good and she is innocent so therefore the audience interpret her as a good character. In terms of both having good and evil characteristics Hone Harawira is an excellent example. Hone stresses the fact that Maori are being exploited of their rights but he uses violent approaches such as name calling and abuse to express his point. He has good intentions of promoting equality amongst Maori and Pakeha which is his good quality but social drifts cause him to act out in irrational and hostile ways which are his evil qualities. He has the capacity for good and evil as they both affect his human nature. There is an old story that illustrates the fact that human nature has the manifestation of both evil and good but we are marked as being any good or evil by which qualities we follow. A native American elder once draw his own inner struggles in this manner Inside of me there are two dogs. One of the dogs is mean and evil. The other dog is good. The mean dog fights the good dog all the time. When asked which dog wins, he reflected for a moment and replied, the one I feed the most. The affect of good and evil on human nature and society is simple.Good associates with peace, love, innocence etc. which are likely to leave a positive affect on human nature simply by the nature of these attributes. Having a positive affect on human nature means a positive affect on society as mankind holds influence on how society operates. Whereas with evil. Evil leads to war, violence hate which definitely leave negative affects on human nature because the pain these attributes cause. Having a negative affect on human nature means a negative affect on society as humanity under the influence of evil cause so ciety to work backwards and away from unity and order.Going back to Alabama 1950s the racist society were affected by the evils of social drifts like prejudice and discrimination so society was forced into a state of hostility and deplore. Afro-Americans like Martin Luther King were effected by the goods of oppression leadership to his fight for equality, due to Martin Luther King society became more aware of the injustices that were taking place so society substantially changed to a society that did not discriminate based on race but upheld the peace and equality.

This is an unbalanced equation for Gasification process,C6H12O6 + O2 + H2O CO + CO2 + H2 + other species. Removal of Nitrogenous Compound In this step Nitrogenous compounds are eliminated from mixture by their response with the mixture with pure Oxygen or steam. Then we obtained the hydrocarbons and the endothermal reaction of hydrocarbons replicatio n a Gas rich in Hydrogen. (Hydrogen. org) CO + H2O CO2 + H2 Exothermic and Endothermic reactions in Steam reform process In steam reform manufacturing of hydrogen both exothermic and endothermic effect takes place. The first reaction which is observed in system is highly endothermic reaction, in this reaction the heat is soak up by the system in order to initiate the reaction in the midst of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, the heat is endow with the system from its environment by burning overindulgence of methane. The posterior type of reaction which is being observed in steam reform process is the exothermic reaction, it is observes during gaffe reaction which initiates the separation progression for removing carbon dioxide, during exothermic reaction it is observed that this reaction releases large sum up of heat. After removal of all the impurities pure hydrogen is obtained. (Leanne M. Crosbie and Dr. Douglas Chapin, January15, 2003) Exothermic and Endothermic reactions in Biomas s Process The reaction which is usually seen in Biomass process is the endothermic reaction, in first step of obtaining hydrogen from Biomass process the fracture up of organic substance for doing so the large amount of heat is provided to the system, the system absorb heats so the bonds between organic compounds starts breaking. As in this reaction the heat is being absorb by the system to it is believed that in Biomass process of hydrogen manufacturing endothermic reaction Occurs. How far does Pentheus Essay Example for Free

How far does Pentheus EssayAt the beginning of the play I think I would be inclined to agree that Pentheus merits his penalizement but by the end after we are shown the representation that Dionysus reacts to him and how his punishment is completed, I would probably say he does not deserve the punishment he was given. In my opinion it was vile and unnecessary but the ancient Greeks took the Gods will very seriously and the fact that a King was not welcoming to a new matinee idol, seemingly insulted them and thus forced Dionysus to exact vindicate upon him. At the start when Pentheus enters he declares that he has heard rumours that this new god is driving the women to leave their blank spaces and entertain criminal actions. He says his hero-worshippers are frolicking and satisfying the lusts of men. He is basing these blames purely on rumour and even calls Dionysus a parvenu god. He is not obeisanceing the new god and even though he k straights the gods can punish humans, he still refuses to worship him he even states that he will leave him out of his worship when he goes to sleep. He calls him some foreigner and disrespects him by saying he is a wizard illusionist and had fragrant golden curls, not meaning to compliment him but insult him. Here perhaps he does deserve his punishment because he is disrespectful and unkind to the new god because he is a cynical ruler. Cadmus and Tiresias encourage Pentheus to allow Dionysuss worship into the city but here will listen to none of it and he is rude to both of them (which again, is not expected of a king but his pride and arrogance overpowers his respect for his elders). He has absolutely no piety towards Dionysus and insults him once he is brought (in disguise) to Pentheus. He is given many warnings by Dionysus but Pentheus chooses not to hear then and ignores him, he is spoken to in riddles but Pentheus once again shows no understanding and Pentheus even goes as far as mocking Zeus and this makes us ru th him because he does not understand what is going on. In this instance I do not suppose he deserves his punishment. He doesnt believe in Dionysus and his obsession with order proves his downfall, in spite of the warnings he is given. posterior in the play Dionysus has the upper hand by hypnotising Pentheus and forcing him to see a bull and trying to radio link it up. Here we begin to find oneself sorry for Pentheus and think that it is cruel of Dionysus to confuse him. There is a tune between the rage and frustration of Pentheus and the calmness of Dionysus. A herald comes and tells Pentheus about the worship of the Bacchants and Dionysus is quick to trick him to witness it himself, he is lured like a child and is easily persuaded by Dionysus because he is still tranquilize by him.Because he becomes so child-like and vulnerable our lenience for him increases because he is unable to control his actions from here on. I do not believe he deserves his fate now because he is lur ed by Dionysus charm and he has put all of his trust into the gods hands. We feel sorry for Pentheus here and because he is more innocent here (is persuaded to dress up as a bacchant) and does not deserve this cruel punishment Dionysus has planned for him.Dionysus now becomes the cruel one and plays with Pentheus vulnerable state and mentions sick jokes towards his death by saying you shall ride home in your mothers arms. Which is terrible dramatic irony and we are forced to feel compassionate towards Pentheus because we know simply what is going to happen to him. Because it is his mother that is going to kill him, I believe he does not deserve to be killed like this, but by his mother killing him it forces us to take more pity on Pentheus and Agave and I do not believe he deserves his punishment like this.It in effect(p) proves the malice of Dionysus and how far he will go to induce punishment on the city of Thebes in order to be worshipped. So Pentheus deserves his punishment b ecause he was unwilling to accept a new god and refused to worship someone he did not believe in and this resulted in his death but he did not deserve the way in which he was punished because it was his mother who was forced to do it and he was brutally ripped apart while in a child-like state of mind and under Dionysus control. So we feel sympathy towards him and I do not believe he deserved his punishment

These advances have wrought their most significant changes on independe nt sectors of the movie business. In the rain cloud days of the studio system, a parallel or serious rival to that system coming from the independent industry would be unthinkable the cost and challenge of production and post-production was prohibitive, difficulties of promotion insurmountable. The Internet and many new digital distribution technologies are now starting to remove barriers for the makers and distributors of independent films (Landers, 2006).The development of the 16mm camera and advances in sound technology made it possible, though still difficult, for individuals or small groups of filmmakers to make their vision slang something rarely possible in the days of the Edison monopoly on technology, or the prohibitive cost of 35mm cameras and professional luminosity setups. The challenges of film making were still large in number, but the development of an independent sector of the industry forced the majors to take notice, though the development of subsidiaries speci fically tasked to take note of and distribute shiny independent films failed to materialize. Independent film had a confined audience, generally limited to subcultures of underground or observational film.
